Biography
Kazuko
Baba, Pianist & Composer in jazz, lives in Japan
after living in New York City for nine years and
performs in clubs and concerts. Her second CD was
released in October 2006 which recorded with David
Williams (Bass) and Leroy Williams (Drums), special
guest Reggie Workman (Bass) and Satoshi Inoue (Guitar),
produced by Kunle Mwanga. The first album was released
on Playscape Recordings in USA in July 2002 that
recorded with Yosuke Inoue (bass) and Taro Koyama
(drums), and she continues to tour and perform Japan
with her own band. Her compositions are recognized by
their uniqueness and new ideas and her performances
were highly praised.
